Since his early youth Tom Barkley has been addicted to electronic music and soon he started dj-ing at small private parties. In 1996, he decided to kick off his professional DJ career and toured at clubs and festivals around Austria and Germany. Shortly after his debut he received the title „Rooky of the year“ from several newspapers and signed his first resident DJ jobs.

In 2004, he took the opportunity to become resident DJ at various Empire clubs throughout Austria for three years. With every gig, Tom Barkley heats up the crowd in an appealingly fresh way. Through his steady change and his ability to fascinate people he became one of the most popular DJs in the Austrian club and festival scene.

In 2008, he joined the label 'HouseArt' and teamed up with Joaquin Phunk to jointly produce unique music.

Internationally, for example, Tom Barkley regularly plays in the biggest clubs of Denmark and is represented by the booking agency Mawi Int. . 

During his DJ career he played on numerous events with international guest DJ’s like Mauro Picotto, Felix da Housecat, Discoboys, Phats & Small and Tom Novy.
